American citizenship carries its own set of responsibilities and privileges. Information on some of those is located at the links listed here.

Perhaps the most basic and important responsibilities of citizenship is casting your vote! For information on everything regarding voting in Nevada County, visit the Elections Office site. (Passport procedures are on that site, too.)

Serving on local boards and commissions, or on the Grand Jury, are also ways to increase your involvement in our community.
