Many of these basic services are delivered by the departments of the Nevada County Health & Human Services Agency (Social Services, Public Health, Behavioral Health, and Veterans' Services).

But you'll also find human service programs in the Housing Division of the Community Development Agency, as well as from area non-profit organizations.
