A complete listing of Boards and Commissions appointed by the Nevada County Board of Supervisors is located on the Committee and Commission Vacancies page of the Clerk of the Board Website.

Persons interested in applying for a position on a Board of Supervisors' Committee or Commission may submit a County Commission Application Form which can be obtained from the Board of Supervisors' office, Second Floor, Eric Rood Administrative Center, 950 Maidu Avenue, Nevada City. An application form is also available on-line and can be submitted by mail to the Clerk of the Board.

An application can also be requested, or additional information about the vacancy can be obtained by calling (530) 265-1480.

All applicants must be residents of Nevada County and newly appointed members will be required to sign an oath of office prior to serving. Some Committee and Commission appointments also require members to file a Financial Disclosure Statement with the County.
