The Winner's List of the Nevada City Bicycle Classic reads like a who's who of modern American cycling. Many riders who have competed in this tough race have gone on to scale cycling's highest peaks. Greg LeMond, America's greatest cyclist, won the Nevada City Bicycle Classic three times before his ascent to three Tour de France victories and two World Championship titles.
