Click: -- The Nevada County Department of Environmental Health is the local implementing agency for a diverse range of state and local laws affecting the public health of the citizens and visitors of Nevada County. The water you drink, the food you eat, businesses where you buy gasoline or have your automobiles serviced and land that is developed are all within the scope of services provided by the department.
Effective August 7, 2011. Includes the schedules for CDA Admin, Building, Planning, Environmental Health, Code Compliance, Agricultural Commissioner and County Surveyor.
CDA is open to the public Monday through Friday (excluding County Holidays), from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM including the lunch hour.
Permits are not accepted for processing after 4:00 PM.
CDA accepts cash, checks, cashier's checks and most credit cards(not visa).
