The Nevada County Geographic Information System Division provides a diverse range of mapping and database information about Nevada County.

GIS allows many types of geographically-related data to be displayed and queried. Increasingly, County departments are using GIS to locate parcels, perform queries about parcel related data, analyze crime data, election data and a host of other map data analysis. GIS gives County staff technical tools to do their jobs faster and provides uniform data to all departments and the public as well.
