The Nevada County Housing Division is a multi-services resource agency which pursues, secures, and administers state and federal funds for efforts which benefit low income households.

Successful grants include funding from:
  • The Community Development Block Grant Program,
  • The HOME Program,
  • The Community Services Block Grant Program,
  • The Workforce Housing Reward Program,
  • The Department of Energy, and
  • The USDA Housing Preservation Grant Program.

    The Housing Division is currently administering the following programs to benefit low income households:
  • Home rehabilitation,
  • Small business assistance,
  • Home weatherization, and
  • Home energy efficiency solutions.
