Alison Lehman is the Assistant County Executive Officer (ACEO) and serves as the Public Information Officer (PIO) for the County. As the PIO, Alison is responsible for the planning, organization, and implementation of the County’s public information and activities in order to provide the public and media with accurate information in a timely fashion.
Alison comes to the position of Public Information Officer with great expertise and qualifications. She has held several leadership positions in the County including Interim Public Health Director as well as Program Manager for the Health and Human Services Agency Truckee Satellite Office.
Prior to being appointed as the ACEO, Alison served as the Social Services Director in the Health and Human Services Agency for Nevada County. There Alison was responsible for the delivery of public assistance, workforce development, and information for other programs. Alison holds a B.A. in Political Science from UC Berkeley and has 17 years of experience in government and community nonprofit settings.
