How Do I Receive Payments

‚ÄčVictim Restitution

If you are entitled to Victim Restitution payments, you may receive payments in one of two ways, either by check or direct deposit. By default, payments will be mailed by check to your address of record. If you feel you should be receiving Victim Restitution payments, please make sure that we have your most current information. Call us at (530) 265-1266 to inquire about your account or to provide updated information.

Direct Deposit

To receive your restitution payments by direct deposit please print and complete both of the forms below and return them to:

Nevada City, CA 95959

Vendor Data Form

The Vendor Data form is required so that an Auditor's vendor number (payee number) can be assigned to you. Tax withholding is not applicable and no tax will be withheld.

Direct Deposit Authorization Form

The Direct Deposit Authorization form provides the necessary information to deposit funds directly to your account.
