The California Tele-Medicine Network (CTN) mission is to use broadband technology to improve access to the best quality health care in rural and medically under-served communities statewide. This project is the product of an unprecedented coalition of stakeholders. This large and diverse group of partners are working together to create new telecommunications infrastructure, eventually allowing California’s rural communities to access a broad range of technology-enhanced services to improve the quality of health care services.
Providers & Services
Telecommunications services are offered via the program at a deeply discounted rate to qualifying organizations. Healthcare providers and related organizations can contact them directly or our local Grass Valley based Connecting to Care nonprofit organization for guidance and assistance to sign up for CTN services.
California Teleconnect Fund
The California Teleconnect Fund (CTF) program provides a 50% discount on select communications services to schools, libraries, hospitals and other nonprofit organizations.
Nonprofit organizations should ask local Internet providers if they have a special nonprofit rate, as many do.
