Now, you have completed plan check and have been informed that your permit is ready to be picked up. What do you do now?
If you submitted paper plans, you will need to do the following:
Pay your required fees to your local fire and school district, if these fees apply to your project. They will provide you a certificate of compliance.
Bring your certificate of compliance forms along with your checkbook to the our office to pick up your approved plans, pay the balance of your permit fees and obtain your permit (yellow card). Our office is open Monday through Friday from 8 am to 3:30 pm for permit issuance.
If you submitted digital plans, in addition to the two items above, you will need to print out a copy of your approved plan set. You can obtain the approved set of plans by accessing your permit through our online Citizen Access Portal.
Now, you have your permit and approved plans, the fun can start and you can begin construction.
