Limited Services By Appointment Only Starting June 29, 2020

The Customer Service Counter for Nevada County Community Development Agency is now open by appointment ONLY effective June 29, 2020.  Appointments are available Monday through Thursday from  9am to 11am and 1pm to 3pm. You can schedule your appointment by contacting our office directly at 530-265-1222 Option 4 (Code), CodeCompliance@co.nevada.ca.us, or 530-265-1222 Option 8 (Cannabis), cannabiscompliance@co.nevada.ca.usto book a time. No same day appointments will be available at this time.

We are asking that if you are able to utilize email, phone, online services, and the drop box located in the Rood Center lobby to please continue to do so. Visit our Code or Cannabis Division websites to look up property information, file code investigation service requests, obtain cannabis permit information, and much more. If you have any questions and/or concerns please don’t hesitate to contact us. Nevada County will be hosting two FREE cannabis workshops on March 5 and May 6 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm in the Board Chambers at 950 Maidu Ave, Nevada City, CA 95959.

Attendees will be given the opportunity to ask questions to Community Development Agency staff members, local growers who are in compliance, and also receive insight on State permitting from the California Water Board and Department of Fish and Wildlife.

Commercial Cannabis Application Appointments

Commercial Cannabis Permit applicants can make appointments with CDA staff for Administrative Development and Commercial Cannabis Permits. Appointments will occur Monday-Friday starting at 8:00am on a first-come, first-served basis. Appointments are for COMPLETE submittals only. ADP and CCP packets are available online or at the CDA office located at 950 Maidu Ave. in Nevada City. 

To make an appointment to submit your application please contact Nevada County CDA at (530) 265-1222 or come visit us in person at the CDA main office.
