211 Connecting Point’s Volunteer Hub serves as a one-stop-shop for those looking for ways to lend a helping hand during the coronavirus crises. If you are able to assist with volunteer needs such as meal delivery, food packing and distribution, and disaster healthcare please visit the volunteer hub to register.
Help by maintaining community connection. Check on older neighbors with a call, text, or talk through the door.
Donated blood has decreased dramatically. Healthy, eligible donors are urged to come out and give to ensure there’s lifesaving blood on the shelves for those who need it most. Visit the American Red Cross: https://www.redcrossblood.org/give.html/find-drive.
California Health Corps
California is preparing for an increase in the number of people who urgently need health care in our communities during the COVID-19 outbreak. To meet this moment, they’re opening additional health care sites to treat people affected by COVID-19 and to relieve the pressure on our health care system by providing care for non-COVID-19 cases.
