Argument Opposed to Measure S

On April 22, 2014, the Board of Supervisors unanimously adopted Resolution 14-140 (PDF), calling a Special Municipal Election for, and authorizing the submission to the voters of, a ballot measure regarding the Medical Marijuana Cultivation Measure (now known as "Measure S"), and consolidating the Special Municipal Election with the November 4, 2014 Election.

The Board also unanimously agreed to form a two-person committee of myself and Supervisor Scofield to write a ballot argument against the Medical Marijuana Cultivation Measure for publication in the voter information pamphlet. The following Argument has now been filed: Primary Argument Opposed to Measure S (PDF).
