Application


Persons interested in applying for a position on a Board of Supervisors' Committee or Commission may submit an Application Form (PDF) that can be obtained online or from:

An application can also be requested, or additional information about the vacancy can be obtained by calling the Clerk of the Board at 530-265-1480.

Requirements


All applicants must be residents of Nevada County and newly appointed members will be required to sign an oath of office prior to serving.

Financial Disclosure Statement


Some Committee and Commission appointments also require members to file a Financial Disclosure Statement with the County. Nevada County has been approved by the California Fair Political Practices Commission (FPPC) for 700 filing, and Committee/Commission members now have the ability to file the Form 700 through our online eDisclosure system. Filers can complete, sign and submit their forms online using personal individual accounts which save your information from year to year, making subsequent filings more convenient.
