Are you planning on completing commercial cannabis cultivation activity in Nevada County? A pre-application process for commercial cannabis Administrative Development Permits (ADP’s) and Commercial Cannabis Permits (CCP’s) is in place. These applications can be submitted with appointments only.
Application appointments can be scheduled starting March 1st. The first application appointments can be scheduled starting on March 4th. Appointments are scheduled on a first-come-first-serve basis and can be scheduled by calling (530) 265-1222, emailing email@example.com, or by visiting the Community Development Agency (CDA) at Eric Rood Administrative Center, Suite 170 located at 950 Maidu Avenue in Nevada City. Please keep in mind that these appointments are for complete application submittals only; questions and inquiries can be answered during normal business hours.

Applications received during the pre-application process will be based on the Draft Nevada County Cannabis Ordinance. Pre-applications will be at the applicants own risk as the cannabis ordinance may be subject to change upon completion of the Cannabis Environmental Impact Report and adoption of the County’s permanent commercial cannabis ordinance by the Board of Supervisors.
