Nevada County Child Welfare Services would like to send a heartfelt and indebted thank you to all of the County offices, community services providers and community members for making the holiday season wonderful for our local families and foster children through their selfless donations. The substantial amount of donations of food baskets, gift cards, clothes, warm jackets, blankets and school supplies and toys given through the Giving Tree Program and outside donations lets our foster youth population know that our community is there for them and to ensure their basic needs are met.
Nevada County Child Welfare Services specifically thanks: Twin Cities Church Congregation who donated over 80 food/gift baskets for our families. We would like to thank the Nevada County Government Center, Brighton Greens Resource Center, Nevada County Superior Court, Nevada County Deputy Sheriff's Association, South Yuba Club, Caroline's Coffee, Alicia Morales's Bunco Group, Project Linus, Emily Adams, UsBorne Books Consultant, Off Broad Street Girls Group, and Foothill Fiber Guild for all of their time, toys, blankets, clothing, food and gift card donations.
Thank you to everyone who continues to help out with this worthy cause year after year, we could not provide these much needed resources to our Nevada County Families and foster youth without your generous contributions each year.
