The Nevada County Adult & Family Services Commission will convene two Community Forums to accept input on the needs of the impoverished in Nevada County. Interested Nevada County residents, including representatives of community organizations and service providers, are invited to participate and share their views regarding the needs of very low-income populations of all ages. The information gathered at the Forums will contribute to the needs assessment process required as a part of the 2022/23 Community Action Plan (CAP). The CAP is part of the application process for ongoing Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) funding for supportive service programs.
The County would like to hear ideas about services or programs that assist low-income populations in achieving self-sufficiency. Supporting data is encouraged.
