November 6th General Election Results

Initial election results for the November 6th General Election have been posted on Elections Results web page, and the next tally is expected to be available on Tuesday, November 13th. Nevada County's Elections department is currently working on processing envelopes, verifying signatures and getting remaining ballots ready to be tabulated.


Residents can find current November 6th General Election results for Nevada County and results by precinct on the Nevada County Election Results GIS map. Residents can also find historical election results by Nevada County precinct on the County's Historical Election Results map.

Voter's Choice Act

Nevada County is under a new model this election season called the Voter’s Choice Act, providing greater flexibility and convenience for voters. Vote by Mail and Voter Information Guides were mailed out to all registered Nevada County voters on Tuesday, October 9th. Every registered Nevada County voter had the option to Vote by Mail or drop their Vote by Mail ballots at any Drop Box location. Under the Voter's Choice Act, Nevada County residents also had the option to stop by a 11-day or 4-day Vote Center to register to vote and vote, even in the same day, through Election Day.
