    Have you ever looked out the window or across a meadow and spotted a bird you couldn’t identify, much less photograph? Want to know more about the bluebirds, bald eagles and other avian species that call our area home? If so, join us for a presentation on May 16 by Tom Knudson who has photographed scores of birds – from pygmy nuthatches to great horned owls – in the forests and watersheds around Truckee. A local writer and naturalist, Tom will talk about his passion for birds and photography and he will present basic tips for locating and photographing some of our amazing local species. Please join us and bring a friend! Light refreshments will be offered.
