    Enjoy the story A Family is a Family is a Family, written by Sara O'Leary, illustrated by Qin Leng, as you follow the map on a stroll through downtown Grass Valley. The story begins at the Grass Valley Library, where you can request a map of the StoryWalk route, and ends at the Bamboo Home Store. Book pages are posted in shop windows, and each page will direct you to the next participating business's display.

    Join us at the Grass Valley Library for lunch in our beautiful backyard for children ages 0 to 18. Participants will be given a fresh meal provided by the Nevada County Food Bank to carry out and eat at home. No registration required Monday-Friday from noon-12:30pm

  2. Writer's Workshop with Poet Susan Wooldridge

    The Nevada County Community Library is kicking off Adult Summer Reading by hosting poet Susan Wooldridge on Friday, June 12th from 4:00 to 6:00 pm for a poetry writing workshop. This workshop is FREE and will take place online via Zoom. Join us at a workshop that will make you feel excited about language and self-expression in both poetry and prose. This event is supported by the California Center for the Book and Poets & Writers, Inc.
